Wordsmithing Magic from the Crossroads
New Year’s is a time of very old magic. Prepare by knowing that everything you do on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day is loaded with power.
Today is the final candle lighting if you’ve not yet done it. Advent is over, the promise is kept, the Light has come. Peace and joy to all.
This is the day before Winter Solstice, and the ancient celebration of Mother Night. Make space for the quiet pause before the Yuletide birth.
We’ve come to the last Sun Day and the final candle before Solstice and Christmas. Happy Chanukah, blessed night, we bring now our fourth Light.
In view of the noise, the divisions among us, the ceaseless rancor, and escalating attacks on our principles, we need this ancient time out.
With the lighting of the third candle on our Advent Solstice Sun Wreath, it’s clear that a great birthing is on the way! We welcome it with joy.
If you celebrate Christmas, tonight at midnight, or tomorrow morning if you prefer, it’s time to light the final wreath candle. Joy to the world!
Watch now, and hold fast. For we have woven together a mighty alignment of the Solstice promise. Today we celebrate Life’s insurmountable triumph.
Today is the fourth and final Sun Day before Winter Solstice, Christmas, and Kwanzaa. Please join us tonight in our global Yule/Advent ritual.
Today we step out of our ordinary cares and the workaday world. This ancient practice offers a pause, to honor the Yule with peace and kindness.
