Wordsmithing Magic from the Crossroads

Privacy Policy

Who I am

My website address is: https://www.owlsdaughter.com.

Here’s the Deal:

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to me.

So never fear. It is my iron-clad policy to respect your privacy regarding any information you may have shared, or that I may collect from you here on my website, https: //www. owlsdaughter. com.

I only ask for personal information when I truly need it, in order to provide a service to you. I collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. I also let you know why I am collecting it and how it will be used.

Plus, I only retain your information for as long as necessary to provide you with your requested service.

And it’s really important to me that you can be confident that I never share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except if required to by law.

My website and blog posts may occasionally link to external sites that are not operated by me. Please be aware that I have no control over the content and practices of these sites, and cannot accept responsibility or liability for their respective privacy policies.

You are free to refuse if I request your personal information, with the understanding that I may be unable to provide you with some of your desired services. (Ex: signing up for my newsletter, or making a purchase).

Artwork, Quotes, and Images

I do my best to offer attribution to creative people when I am able to discover who they are.

I especially love to share (and give full credit to) my fellow writers’ quotes. And I often use illustrations and artwork that I have purchased through a stock service, are in the public domain, or that are free of charge.

However, I am not perfect, so if you have concerns about your work, or feel I have not given you due acknowledgement, please let me know.

I care passionately about creative people receiving fair acknowledgement for their work, and will make it right as soon as I know. That includes taking it down if you prefer me to. Just contact me and I will do so right away.

Last But Not Least

Your continued use of my website will be regarded as acceptance of my practices around privacy and personal information. If you have any further questions about how I handle user data and personal information, feel free to contact me.

As an artist,
I’d choose the thing that’s
beautiful more than
the one that’s true.
