Tonight, we Witches, Pagans, and magical practitioners celebrate our most holy, reflective, and deeply sacred time. This marks the end of the Celtic year, and as the deep dark descends, I invite you to read about the lore, the magic, and the beauty of this hallowed sabbat. The Wheel of the Year turns once more, as Solstice’s magic fades and the seasons begin to change. There are powerful blessings on this ancient Celtic holy day of feasting, fire, and thanksgiving. Named for the vow the Shining God Lugh made to His mother Taitliu, it is an ancient crossroads that celebrates the First Harvest.

Tonight is a powerful magical cusp, as we come to this holy threshold. The Wheel of the Year now turns, and in the Northern Hemisphere, the Light reaches its climax. Let us celebrate joyful Midsummer’s Eve together.

Merry Meet! Today is one of the holiest, happiest, most beautiful celebrations in our sacred year! It is Beltane in the Northern Hemisphere (and Blessed Samhain below the equator). The veil between the worlds is most thin, and our ancient alliances with the Faery world, as well as Nature, are honored. May joy be yours.

There is powerful, Earthy magic flowing in all things at this cross-quarter between Spring and Summer, when we celebrate burgeoning life and Nature’s wild, unrestrained beauty. Rejoice!

Today marks the Vernal Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, and Autumnal Equinox in lands below the equator. As Winter departs, and Spring arrives for us in the north, there is very old magic awakening as the world begins anew.

Although there are many reasons for our hearts to be heavy, let us trust the timing of Nature! Imbolc is our holy time of healing, hope, and renewal. The curtain rises on a bright new year, and the changing of the age. Come celebrate with me.
