This week’s card calls upon us to defend what we know is right. Our laws and most noble ideals matter, even if there are powerful people defying and desecrating them. No matter what, Spiritual Law calls us to honor the contracts we have made with our Gods and with one another in order to be in this life, at this time.

Now, in these last days of Summer, a magical door has opened. Consider this an invitation to  suspend at least some of the daily grind that surely awaits after Labor Day and listen for the guidance of your Divine One(s). Let us quiet our Swords-y chattering minds and await the insight and inspiration we most need.

This week, a “jumper” card leapt from my deck, so how could I refuse? This week it asks, how do we build strong foundations and embrace the sacredness of the physical, manifest world? Security and safety come when we commit ourselves to ensuring the prosperity and well-being of our neighbors and the care of our planet.
