This week’s card calls upon us to defend what we know is right. Our laws and most noble ideals matter, even if there are powerful people defying and desecrating them. No matter what, Spiritual Law calls us to honor the contracts we have made with our Gods and with one another in order to be in this life, at this time.

Now, in these last days of Summer, a magical door has opened. Consider this an invitation to  suspend at least some of the daily grind that surely awaits after Labor Day and listen for the guidance of your Divine One(s). Let us quiet our Swords-y chattering minds and await the insight and inspiration we most need.

This week, a “jumper” card leapt from my deck, so how could I refuse? This week it asks, how do we build strong foundations and embrace the sacredness of the physical, manifest world? Security and safety come when we commit ourselves to ensuring the prosperity and well-being of our neighbors and the care of our planet.

With just a couple of important exceptions, the past couple of months have seen some difficult cards. But this week, perhaps the spell is broken. What would that look like for you? How would you describe the happily-ever-after that you hold in your innermost heart? Behold, there is hope at the end of this rainbow.

This week’s card speaks directly to us from his throne in the hallowed halls of knowledge, societal leadership, and spiritual authority. This is the interpreter of both current events and the Mysteries of the ancients. If he has come to offer instructions for the ultimate betterment of society, what might they be?

In this week that brings us the sweet mystery of the Lady Luna in Her own sign of Cancer and the start of the much ballyhooed Barbault Basket, we are visited by another Knight this week. Following on the heels of last week’s Pentacles champion, the Knight of Cups brings his message of hope and love.

At last, we are liberated from the Seven of Wands (at least this week!), and ready to move forward. But hold up. It’s the Knight of Pentacles. He’s not known for his risk-taking or quick decisions, so progress might be slow. But you can believe it will be steady. Read the rest here!
