Rejoice at the Mighty Turning of the Year: Blessed Lughnasadh

Today is the beloved old holiday of Lughnasadh, sometimes called Lammas. It is the turning between Summer and the first stirrings of Autumn. Slowly, the dark hours are overtaking the light with equinox only six weeks away. Now we celebrate the harvest of the year, gathering in that which was planted in Spring’s hope.

Wishing You and All Our Beloveds a Most Merry Beltane

Merry Meet! Today is one of the holiest, happiest, most beautiful celebrations in our sacred year! It is Beltane in the Northern Hemisphere (and Blessed Samhain below the equator). The veil between the worlds is most thin, and our ancient alliances with the Faery world, as well as Nature, are honored. May joy be yours.

The Flame Unfailing: Blessed Imbolc, Blessed Brighid

Rejoice this happy day, when we dedicate to new magical studies, renew our devotions, undergo initiation, and, under the light of the Owl Moon, welcome the transformation of the Crone to the Maiden. For Imbolc is Life’s Promise: no matter what the ice and cold may deliver, Nature is bigger, stronger, and will triumph.

The more I think about it,
the more I realize there
is nothing more artistic
than to love others.
