Inspiring Enchantment & Illumination with Tarot & Intuitive Guidance

Illumination: To Know

“Learn to see, and then you’ll know that there is no end to the new worlds of our vision.” Carlos Castaneda

Enjoy a richer, more soulful way of living. Thrive, even during times of challenge, transition, and transformation. Aligning yourself in harmony with your own visions, your truth, and the rightness of life is a revolutionary act of self-care. Allow me to show you how.

Illumination means to shed light on a place or a subject. It also refers to when books of knowledge have pages embellished and even gilded with artwork.

And “to know” means that you have a clear objective in mind, plus the understanding of how to manifest the changes you want to as a result of your intention.

To know is the principle of the Witch’s Pyramid that relates to the element of Air and East. In most Tarot systems Air is associated with the suit of Swords.

The Swords can cut away the superfluous, help you determine and protect your boundaries, and teach the skills necessary for success without harm. Swords focus on the power of the mind, including communication, song, poetry, and perception.

Today I offer the final installment of Freedom Fridays, a series based on the Dr. Timothy Snyder’s “On Tyranny: 20 Lessons from the 20th Century.”

Freedom Fridays, Lesson 19: Be a Patriot

My Freedom Fridays series is ending soon, but this week’s lesson is vital. We must fully grasp the difference between nationalism and patriotism.

On This Day, We Invoke Mighty Hecate: See Our Need, Please Heed Our Call

We call upon Hecate today, to guard and support us in this time of deepening darkness. May She protect people, as well as our imperiled democracy.

Freedom Fridays, Lesson 18: Be Calm When the Unthinkable Arrives

This week in Freedom Fridays, we look at what I believe is the most pivotal, climactic tool in the playbook of those who would establish a tyranny.

Freedom Fridays: Lesson 17 – Listen for Dangerous Words

This week, we look at trigger words common to tyranny. Because those who insist liberty is the trade-off for safety usually intend to deny you both.

Freedom Fridays Will Be Back in 2 Weeks

“People will believe a big lie sooner than a little one; and if you repeat it frequently enough people will sooner or later believe it.”

Freedom Fridays – Lesson 15: Contribute to Good Causes

Reinforcing the mechanics of micro-democracy within an organization, we deepen the normalcy of mutual collaboration, and become stronger for it.

Freedom Fridays – Lesson 14: Establish a Private Life

In Lesson 14, Dr. Timothy Snyder warns that we must protect our private lives. “Tyrants seek the hook on which to hang you. Try not to have hooks.”

Freedom Fridays: Lesson 13 – Practice Corporeal Politics

“Power wants your body softening in your chair and your emotions dissipating on the screen.” Join me for Freedom Fridays, Lesson 13, and resist.
