One must feel grateful that the idylls of the forest are still being acted, and that there are still those whose vision is quick enough to catch sight of them and whose pens have the cunning to put before others the glimpses.
~ Lady Rosalind Northcote, early 1900s
This time next week, I’ll be at the Sacred Space Conference in Laurel, Maryland. It is an annual gathering for Earth-centered spiritual paths of all kinds, featuring three days of terrific workshops, lectures, celebrations and rites.
One of the speakers this year is my Fae sister Alruna (who Lady Rosalind would have instantly recognized as a kindred spirit).
Alruna was recently featured in a Valentine’s (Aphrodite’s!) Day program, on West Virgina Public Broadcasting. She talked about her background as a plant spirit medicine woman and some of the old Appalachian Mountain love spells. Of course, the whole interview, she tells me, was over a half-hour long, but the published version is only 3 minutes or so. Still, I hope you will enjoy it.

If you are interested in finding her books (some are out of print, but, thankfully, not very hard or expensive to track down), her Muggles name is Linda Ours Rago. I cannot recommend her writing and wisdom highly enough!
Thank you so much for posting this Beth…..
Oh I wish so much to meet her…
What a pleasant surprise to see Alruna on this site! I was blessed with discovering that we lived very close and have met this wonderful person with whom I share so many things in common. Someone posted this link to my Facebook, of which I am grateful, because I can now enjoy this great site. I love Tarot! Thanks!
Oh, how fortunate, Amy! Welcome to our little nest!
