Dear ones – what a fantastic time I had with my beloveds on my retreat in West Virginia. We worked deep magic, blessed by the beautiful land and the sweet beginnings of Springtime in the Appalachian mountains. We wove healing and love by calling upon our Guides and Allies in the seven realms: The Stones, The Plants, The Animals, The Humans, The Faery Races, The Divine Ones, and Mystery.
As you might expect, this rich, juicy working is still unfolding for me, and I know it will be reflected in the offerings I share with you here. Here is what I know, so far:
I made a promise to my friends and allies in the Faery realms to teach and share their presence with the human worlds in a much more deliberate, overt, intentional way. So I would guess that this space is going to be a leading edge of whatever that may turn out to be.
If you have a prejudice against the Sidhe, I would invite you to stick around with an open mind. However, I also recognize this may not be your cup of tea, so we may be parting ways on this, at least for the time being. I would be very sorry for that to happen, but, well, I did promise. And to be honest, it profoundly gladdens my heart to have been asked to serve them in this way.
Okay, now I have to laugh, because I have started three or four more attempts to tell you what else I know so far. But in fact, I don’t know anything else, so far! So you’ll just have to stay tuned!
Meantime, though, not only am I preparing for the all-day Tarot intensive I am teaching this Saturday, I am re-packing and preparing for my next journey! Next week is the annual Tarot Readers Studio in New York. It is the biggest gathering of international Tarot people in the world. The intention of it is to augment and enrich your ability to read the Tarot, from whatever your current skill level may be. So from the Superstars of Tarot down to the most humble novices, we are all learning and growing, side by side, together!
(So for those of you who have been calling to set up an appointment for a reading, this is why I have been obliged to tell you I am not available until after Beltane. But if you’d like to reserve some time for a phone reading, you can go here).
And all of this is a roundabout way of also saying that on the Aries New Moon yesterday, I had thought I would be setting an intention for the new direction(s) of this blog space.
But in fact, it appears that I am only deeper in the Mysterious Goo, and I honestly don’t know yet what it looks like. Instead, I have bits and pieces of magical shiny stuff: some inklings, glimmerings, Faery dust, and a glowing ember or two that might blaze up at any moment. So it appears for now that rather than pronouncing The New Theme of The Year (or month, or week), I will come to my keyboard when my fingers itch… and noodle a riff or two.. and see what starts to happen.
I hope you’ll be here to jam right along with me!
