Inspiring Enchantment & Illumination with Tarot & Intuitive Guidance

The Most Important Moment in History: Now.

While I do believe that gratitude is central to the healing and change we need, and that fear is self-defeating, being well-informed and aware is critical. Gratitude also needs action.

And we have to know and tell the truth.

I have to also ask why Global Climate Change is not the NUMBER ONE topic for the upcoming election. It’s barely being discussed.

Last night, I nearly fainted when McCain and Obama were talking about expanding nuclear power, offshore drilling, so-called “clean coal” (an oxymoron if there ever was one), and the ongoing use of fossil fuels, as if they are our bridge to the future.

With apologies to Sarah Palin, but that is a bridge to NOWHERE. As evidence, I present the following:

Wake Up, Freak Out – then Get a Grip from Leo Murray on Vimeo.

Wake Up, Freak Out, Then Get a Grip is a short animated film about the feedback loops likely to lead to catastrophic climate change.

It turns out that the way we have been calculating the future impacts of climate change up to now has been missing a really important piece of the picture. It seems we are now dangerously close to the tipping point in the world’s climate system; this is the point of no return, after which truly catastrophic changes become inevitable.

Beth Owl, I agree with you on this one and an even bigger one that is the main cause of global environmental destruction: OVERPOPULATION! It is time to take a look in the petri dish called Earth and take action to stop the unlimited birth rate of humans. Those who oppose birth control, abortion, sex education, limited family size, and choice, need to get real! China’s policy of limiting family size may seem on the surface to limit a ‘right’ to have children. It is certainly not right for someone elses ‘right’ to have 2-4-6-8-? children to take precedence over my (and others’) ‘right’ to live on a long lasting, sustainable, healthy planet. Again, let’s get real, here! The main cause of global warming, hunger, and lack of resources is overpopulation.

So true. Not to mention how this has thwarted centuries of womens’ potential.

But boy, is this a tough sell to so many people everywhere.

    Scarcity mentality starts at home.
