Saturday Inspiration Poetry

by Beth on July 21, 2012

I thought and thought and thought about what pithy, powerful poetry I might post today for my Solar Return.  But this, as it has in past years, suits me just fine.

(ps: If you’d like to help me celebrate my birthday, please donate a little (or a lot) to my dearest Cherry Hill Seminary).

See you tomorrow!

Now We Are Six

by A. A. Milne

When I was one I’d just begun,

When I was two I was nearly new,

When I was three I was hardly me,

When I was four I was not much more,

When I was five I was barely alive,

But now I am six! As clever as clever!

And I think I’ll stay six now for ever and ever!

Happy Birthday, Beth! You are a blessing in my life, as well as, I am sure, in the lives of many. You’re a beautiful person and that shines through everything you do. Much love to you. I hope you’re doing exactly what makes you most happy this weekend.

“I’m rumbly in my tummy, it’s time for something sweet”-Winnie the Pooh. Hoping your Birthday is full of sweetness, love, and light. With lots of cake and treats of course.
