Inspiring Enchantment & Illumination with Tarot & Intuitive Guidance

Getting Ready to Announce the Winner

A very quick update here…

I will be tallying up the votes at (Correction!) 1pm, so if you haven’t voted yet, get going!  Here is how it’s shaking out right at this moment, via email, Facebook and here on the blog:

  • Money magic:  35
  • Beth’s Guide to the Tarot: 52
  • A Year and a Day with the Elements: 54
  • The Magical Year: 14 (Wow! Seriously bottom of the heap?)
  • A Year of Grace: 26
  • The Tarot profile: 26
  • The Shining Ones/Faery lore: 34
  • The Dark Mother: 53

And the write-ins so far have been:

  • Learning to trust your intuition: 3
  • Magic and herbs: 1
  • My experiences at Witchcamp: 1
  • Working with your Guardians/Allies/Guides: 3
  • How to integrate magic into “real life:” 1
  •  How to be a better reader: 1.

Also, I have received a LOT of beautiful encouragement that has made me teary-eyed. You’ve shared some hilarious stories, several well-meaning suggestions of how I should be allowing Spirit/Goddess (and/or the Tarot) make the choice for me, a couple of emails taking me to task for being “in fear;” and a fair bit of marketing advice.

For those who are concerned I have lost my way by asking for this feedback, the truth is that I am not actually afraid or dithery about any of this, nor in need of any spiritual reprimands (thanks anyway!)

In fact, the wise Carolyn Cushing nailed it when she suggested (was it here? in email?) that I love and am passionate about all of these topics!

After all, I have been following my heart (and my genius) all along, writing about what interests and delights me. And I am so deeply honored that you, too, have resonated with these rather eclectic subjects!

Yes, just as she describes, they are like my children – they are all my favorites. Each in its own way calls to my heart!

Instead, at this point, I am very curious about you! What inspires you? What do you see as being a priority, something that calls to you these days?  What would you actually consider buying from me? As one delightful email discussed, which of these would you want to take with you on a non-digital desert island to read?

So here we are.. The poll will close at 1pm, Eastern time .. that’s only a little over an hour.

Please let me know.  And no worries; we don’t need a Tarot deck or a crystal ball to see that there are several more of these in the near future!

If I survive the first one! 🙂

Thanks SO much, everyone!

    Hi Beth,
Just saw this! Thanks for asking! All your topics are just wonderful and all are waiting to be e-books. But my vote is for Money Magic to be the first e-book because of the incredible number of the general public you could reach and inspire in a time of great need. Thanks much for taking on whatever you choose… November will fly by!
    Blessings!

I am too late to vote. They all sound so wonderful! It was difficult to choose. I am glad “A Year and a Day with the Elements!” won tho! Happy writing! The ebook should arrive just in time for the holidays…however they are celebrated! Co.o.o.o..l.l.l.!!!

  • November 3, 2011, 5:18 pm Carolyn Cushing

Ah, thanks, for the shout out! And glad that you liked the children analogy. And know that you have brought me into this madness, too. I’m going to be part of Contetaplooza!
