Inspiring Enchantment & Illumination with Tarot & Intuitive Guidance

About 10:10:10

As you know by now, on the weekends, I like to post views and inspiration from other creative and spiritual souls.  Today, there is a lot of excitement (and a generous helping of hype) regarding the significance of this magical date: 10/10/10.  Here is one interesting link with several channeled messages about the cosmic shift that may be occurring on this date.

But for a more grounded perspective, I like what astrologer Lynn Hayes had to say about it…

The significance of 10/10/10: a lecture

by Lynn Hayes

I recently received an invitation to an event in Asheville called the Stargate Portal Opening on October 10, 2010. According to Enoch, as channeled through Dr Raja Merk Dove, ”On this Sacred Day ye call 10-10-10 the Atlantean Crystals, long held in dormancy beneath Mount Pisgah, in North Carolina will be reactivated as per cosmic design destiny and this Cosmic Trigger at 6 am DAWN on the morning of October 10.”

Asheville does have a surprising amount of quartz crystal in the ground beneath the town, and in the buildings themselves; a fact which is often used to explain the quirky nature of Asheville.

Channelers everywhere are having a field day. Suzanna Kennedy, channeling the “Council of One,” writes:

The significance of this 10:10:10 Stargate opening is such that we, the Council of One, encourage you to power up your I AM Presence. In the alignment of your many selves with Your Self, then come into alignment with the I AM of All in One.

This is the first time in your celestial history that that you have experienced this 10:10 Stargate while the Celestial Unity Wave is flowing. This generates a wave of change so profound; your very particles of light spin differently than before. Spinning faster, jumping, twirling in joy; expressing an ecstatic dance of particles on waves of unity.

When you become conscious of this Sacred Union, it gladdens your heart. The frequency of joy and your focus upon unity will be like a rocket booster to the collective consciousness of humanity; raising all to a timeline that is even more graceful than before.

Your world is transforming. Yes. Humans tend not to like change. And transformation is BIG CHANGE. This is difficult to cope with for most on your planet. The Council of One focus is dedicated to graceful change, graceful transformation. Focus on more grace, more ease with the right balance of speed.

A video circulating around the web from the “Cetacean Family of Light” claims that on 10/10/10 there will be an opening of the crystalline portals of the oceans.

Mathematicians and numerologists may enjoy this explanation of the significance of 10/10/10, but some of my readers have written me asking if there is any astrological significance to this date.

Sadly, I must reveal the truth: There isn’t any.

If I sound skeptical, it’s because I am. No one would be happier than me to see this graceful change and transformation, but I doubt that on October 10th a portal will open and we will magically shift into a world of light. Still, focusing on the power of the human consciousness to open to magic is never a bad thing, and if it takes a calendrical event to inspire us who am I to spoil the party!

The number 10 represents completion – it signifies the end of one cycle and the readiness to begin something new. In the Tarot the tenth card in the Major Arcana is the Wheel of Fortune: the knowledge that life brings unexpected occurrences over which we have no control.

Astrologically the number 10 is connected with Capricorn, the tenth sign of the zodiac, and the Tenth House of mastery and achievement. I suppose we could make a big leap and connect the fact that Pluto is now in Capricorn, the tenth sign, to the date October 10th, 2010 but this would not really serve any purpose in helping us to truly break through the barriers that keep us from transforming into pure consciousness.

Instead let’s put our attention to real healing and real transformation that will bring genuine results into our lives.

It IS easy to get caught up in pseudo-meaningful theories . I like Lynn’s assessment and her reminder that growth and change take an element of hard work! (Capricorn!)
