Inspiring Enchantment & Illumination with Tarot & Intuitive Guidance

Saturday’s Poetry for Brighid

While I am away, I am sharing some of the poetry for Brighid that was posted this week in Her honor. Drink deep from this beauty and fill the wells of your inspiration.

SONG 17
from Earth Psalms
by Angela Magara

My lips call to you Goddess.
My lips – in which I have steeped truth of its essence –
call to you and ask that the ear of my own heart listen.
I have sought wisdom from my dreams and walked the night ways seeking.
I have laid the scourge of revelation
across my shoulders
Demanding divinity from their flesh.
Magics and spells have I spun
to no end.

Finally My hands still and cease from their work.
I accept.

All are listening, each to the other, with love.
My lips call to you Goddess.
The longing of my soul must speak.
Hold me always in this path.
I have sown hopes, yield the crop of my desire.

There is no hope beyond this,
No delight that rings deeper.
I accept Your love, your world, your abundance, your want,
I open my clenched hands and I accept.
My lips call to you Goddess

And receive the kiss.

    Hey Beth,

By some mystery, this is the first time in my life I write some kind of poem. Writing is not my strong side.
But it seems that’s what Brigid wanted me to do.
You can see it in my blog.
    Namaste.
